Carangidae family in lebanon are 11 species.The well known and
the most desired by the spearfisher is Seriola dumerelii known as
"Jarou", and there hunting is seasonal.they are:

alepes djedaba,ha'out
caranx crysos,blue runner
caranx rhonchus
lichia amia,leerfish,ghasal
naucrates ductor ,pilot fish
pseudocaranx dentex,white trevally
